Talent Acquisition Specialist
The application process felt pretty structured and kept me interested. It kicked off with a preliminary phone chat with Corporate Recruitment to talk about the role and my background. Then, I had a casual coffee meetup at the office, which was great for getting a feel for the company vibe. Right after that, on the same day, I went into a more formal interview to dive deeper into my experience and what drives me. The last part was a presentation I put together for both the manager and the director. Not long after, I got the offer. All in all, the process was straightforward, felt really personal, and gave me a solid understanding of the team and what's expected.
- What support from your manager, L&OD, and team do you require to excel?
Recruitment Associate
The process was pretty straightforward. First, a Teams interview with the internal recruiter. Then, another Teams interview with the hiring managers. After that, an in-person interview with their manager, followed by a final in-person interview with the director. They asked about how I would approach things and for scenario-based questions.
- Explain how you would start a coffee bean business if you opened a coffee shop.
Consultant
The initial phone call went smoothly with a friendly and competent recruiter asking relevant questions. Afterwards, I received a callback and was told to prepare for a 2-hour interview. This second interview was also with friendly managers, and while 2 hours is long, it wasn't a problem. The issue with SThree is the lack of notification about not proceeding to the next round. Only after inquiring was a standard email sent. It's disrespectful to waste several hours of one's life like that. I don't even want to think about how their external placement clients are treated...
- Why recruiting?
- What about frustration tolerance?
- Tell me about your work experience.
Staffing Specialist
Started great and then when you meet the actual person in charge for an interview you are treated as though below them and interrogated. Would not want to be part of this culture and subjected to this kind of treatment. Was also told to expect a follow up in any regard at a specific time and that was never completed. Never responded after promising to let you know either way. Would expect more of that from a staffing company especially.
- What do you consider the most crucial element of a job role?
