They asked about my past experience, my technical background, and the technologies I've used. For Lead roles, there's a system design part, but no online coding or algorithm tasks. It's more about questions and tasks related to what I've done before.

I went for an interview for the district manager position. A few minutes in, they told me I didn't have the experience for district manager and wanted me to be a store manager instead. This didn't make sense because her experience was similar to mine, and she mentioned she was hired from outside the company as a district manager. I would have preferred if they had been upfront during the initial phone call to set up the interview. They already had my resume before the face-to-face meeting. There was no need to make someone travel just to be told they aren't a fit for the position they applied for.

The first interview is with the store manager for the location you are applying to, mostly about your resume and application, and if you can pass a background/drug test. The second interview is with a higher-up, a district manager in my case. However, the DM forgot about me. I drove an hour to the district HQ, waited 20+ minutes while associates tried to find him. Then I drove over an hour to another store location where he and another manager were ready and waiting for me. The interview lasted about five minutes, with two questions about my professional background and one about the drug test, and then I was dismissed.

I had my first interview today. It was with the district manager at one of the local shops. It went well. It was a very personal interview, almost like having a conversation. He asked questions like: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Why Stewart's? and about my prior work experience. He told me that they will contact me for a second interview in 7-10 days, if they decide to. He also went over my application which had a variety of questions on it. Overall, I felt very comfortable and thought it went well.
