The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked about my driving history, and we talked about pay and benefits. It was a friendly process, much like other trucking companies. I'd suggest checking out their website first. The role involves long-distance driving.

after doing all the checks, I spoke to the manager about what the recruiter and I had talked about. Because of my experience, they wanted me to go through their truck driver academy to get a CDL, which I already have. The contract said I had to go to school and stay with them for 2 years or pay $3000. I didn't agree because there was no point in getting a license I already had. I just needed 6-8 weeks with a trainer to show I could drive. They wouldn't let me do that and told me I had to find my own way home after they brought me there.

This interview process felt like a show, and frankly, it's all a bit misleading. They highlight anything that sounds good, and most people don't realize it's not the whole story. Some of us figure out there's a lot of shady stuff going on. The main goal is to make you work extremely hard, and then quit. Their business model relies on lots of people coming and going, so they do whatever they can to keep hiring and then have people leave.
