Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sterling Group.
Property Manager
The interview process was pretty laid back. It started with a phone call to see if I was interested, and then I had an in-person interview that was also pretty chill. The district manager made me feel at ease, and they answered all my questions, plus some I hadn't even thought of.
- Are you okay with being responsible for a team?
Property Manager
The interview process felt uncoordinated and rushed, and some interviewers weren't very welcoming. A lot of the same questions were asked over and over, making it feel more like an interrogation than a conversation. It seemed like nobody had time to really conduct the interview properly.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Property Manager
After submitting my online application and resume, I was given tasks to complete, either through email or the company portal. The entire application process, including spreadsheets, online tasks, and email communication, took me about 8 hours.
- Would your current staff say you're a fair boss?
