First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stericycle.
Customer Service Supervisor
I first had a phone screening with HR. They gave me a quick rundown of the role and confirmed I was a good fit. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview the next day. I met with two managers in a panel setting. It was conversational, and they asked questions without making me feel too pressured. They were great at explaining their own roles, their time with the company, what the job involved, and the kind of person they're looking for. After that, I had another interview with a director over the phone, which was a bit tricky to schedule due to the holidays, but it was a light conversation.
- Can you share an instance from your supervisory experience where you had to assign a task to your team that you disagreed with or disliked, and describe how you managed that situation?
Customer Experience Representative
First I had a short phone interview, then a skill test, and then in person. The interview was about an hour long and had a good number of questions. You should be ready to give examples and stories to back up your answers.
- Could you start by walking us through your resume?
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Stericycle?
- Can you describe a time you used multiple tools to assist a customer?
Customer Experience Representative
So the first thing was a recruiter screened me, then I had to do this online skills assessment thing before the actual interview. The interview itself was in person at their office with an HR person, and then a hiring manager joined us on video chat. We talked a lot about customer service type questions.
- What's your strategy for handling several tasks simultaneously?
- What are your career aspirations in the next five years?
