The recruiter reached out on WhatsApp. We scheduled a meeting for the next day. It was an online meeting, about 40 minutes long, with the recruiter and the team lead. They asked about my previous job responsibilities and the software I used.
- Can you tell me about your responsibilities in your last role and which software applications you utilized?
- What are your salary expectations?
UX Designer
I found the selection process confusing. First, I had an interview and received no feedback. A month later, I was invited to create a presentation about a given task and present it in person. During the presentation, the feedback was positive and relaxed. About 2 weeks later, I received a rejection. The recruiter asked me confusing questions and, in both stages, delayed the meeting. I waited 1h30 for the first and 30 minutes for the second.
- How would you describe the color blue to a blind person?
- What are all the things you can do with a pen besides writing?
UX Designer
I started with a technical interview with the project lead, who was very kind and welcoming. I liked the calm way I was received. The manager doesn't treat people with superiority or ask intimidating questions. They asked me to talk about my professional journey, paying close attention to what I said. They also asked a bit about my personal life. I liked going through the technical interview first. Because if you don't do well, it doesn't make sense to talk to Recruitment. I liked the activities proposed. I was then referred to HR. They were also great and respectful. I got a positive response soon, but the hiring took about 15 days because it's done on two specific dates of the month. I felt very comfortable in both interviews. I felt the company values hiring women and has no prejudice about us having children.
- Could you tell me about your professional background?
