Product Manager
The team was very formal and sincere. They were efficient and wrapped up many interviews in one day. The interviewers were humble and helpful.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Please explain your BTP.
- Could you share a memorable riddle or puzzle you solved?
QA Manager
This was one of the most unprofessional hiring processes I've ever seen. The HR would call and tell me an interview was scheduled for the next day but wouldn't send an email or calendar invite. They'd call and tell me to come to the office for an HR round but wouldn't even send details on who to contact or where to go. After 7 rounds of interviews, they suddenly claimed my current salary was too high and they couldn't exceed it. They also suddenly realized I wasn't a manager in my current role and therefore couldn't proceed. It's strange because they were aware of my role and responsibilities from the first round and asked about them in every interview. After a 54-day interview process, which included an HR round, the only thing left was receiving an offer letter. When I emailed asking for an update, they replied that they couldn't proceed further.
- Describe bugs encountered during performance testing.
- How do you approach senior management when you are new to a team?
Sales
I was first reached out to by a contract recruiter, and that conversation went really well. Then I talked to the hiring manager and two VPs. Since all of this happened really fast, I was feeling pretty good about it. But then, nothing. I didn't hear back and got no feedback. Eventually, I found out through a voicemail that they went with someone else. It would be cool if companies were as quick to let you know the decision as they are to schedule the interviews.
- Could you explain your understanding of Oliver Wight and its significance?
Software Engineer
HR found my resume on Naukri.com and set up a technical phone interview. The interview was supposed to start at a certain time, but it got delayed by 2.5 hours. I had to call them twice before it began. The first interview, lasting 25 minutes, covered topics like Garbage Collection, Polymorphism, Abstract classes vs. Interfaces, and basic Thread questions, plus a logic question. The interviewer mentioned HR would follow up. Two days later, I had a face-to-face round. This interview included a train puzzle, more on Garbage Collection, how to create a custom serializable class, a discussion about my project, and why I'm looking to leave my current job. The interviewer then described the role and the company again, and said HR would contact me. Another two days passed, and I was informed I got selected. Finally, I had the HR round for negotiation, where I bargained a bit before accepting the offer.
- Can you explain how you would create your own serializable class?
