So I had this initial phone interview with the HR person, since I was applying from far away. It was really bad. The HR person was mean and asked weird questions. It didn't give me a good vibe about the company culture and I'm glad it didn't go any further. Companies think it's okay to treat potential job candidates terribly, because you need them more than they need you. But this logic is flawed because one bad review on a site like this can cost you tons of good employees down the line. The HR person is the first impression of your company. You want that to be good.

After I sent my resumé, it took them a few weeks to get back to me, but I was really excited when they called for an interview! They were super nice and I felt like things were going well. I asked about their interview process, and they mentioned another interview to see how I'd fit with the team, and then a final one with the boss in the US. Sadly, I didn't get a callback for the group interview, which I was really looking forward to. They did let me know they'd hired someone else, which I appreciated because it allowed me to focus on other applications. I'm still hopeful for a future chance at Steelcase, as I'm a big fan of their culture.

Applied online and got an email. The process was pretty long: took an IQ test, had a first interview, then two design tests that took a while, and a second interview. After sending everything, I got an email asking me to wait for a decision and a third interview. Never heard back, even after following up. Saw on LinkedIn they hired someone else. Super disappointed about not even getting a rejection email.
