Data Researcher
Got an email invitation for a video conference with HR. Learned about the job details and company culture. Had a second video call with the Team Leader to go over my background and motivations more, and understand daily tasks. Finally, attended a hybrid meeting at the office with the team lead and his boss. We chatted, and I did some computer tasks related to the job. Got feedback within days. All communication was clear, efficient, and on time.

Researcher
It was a pretty standard interview process. They started by explaining the company and then asked me to introduce myself. I was then asked a single, straightforward estimation question. After that, they confirmed my personal details and we had a Q&A session. They extended an offer, which I accepted. However, a few days later, they emailed to say they couldn't proceed with the offer due to visa issues, which I found quite strange. I specifically asked if my current permit would be sufficient or if a new one would take a long time to obtain, and they indicated it shouldn't be a problem and that applying for a new one wouldn't be lengthy. It felt like a poor excuse.
