The initial online application was quite extensive but very detailed. I had to schedule the actual interview about a month out. The interview itself went smoothly and was quite brief. Afterward, I was informed I'd be contacted by the hiring manager via phone or email regarding the outcome, and that the position would be filled. I ended up receiving an email three months later.

I interviewed with Santa Fe casino for a server role. I got a call for the interview after about 3 days. When I got there, I found out it was a group and panel interview, not a typical one-on-one. There were 2 people at the panel table, one talked, one had no expression, and 2 others were sitting further away, which I wasn't aware of. Someone else interviewing mentioned it was a group interview, making it feel like a competition. I felt targeted because I was the only experienced person, and they mentioned my experience first before asking questions. Later, they said experience didn't matter, which felt dismissive. I wasn't interested after that and didn't want the job. The management didn't look professional, and I wasn't sure if they were even in food and beverage. The whole vibe was off, and I felt like I was playing a game. I wouldn't want to work for a company that's inconsiderate. I'm a strong candidate with better employers who recognized my talent and showed respect. They can play games with inexperienced people, but they'll keep needing to hire.

It was a very direct and coherent interview, with a strong focus on money handling. They also told me about the company, the team, growth opportunities, and other logistical details. Lastly, they emphasized maintaining strict stock control and following the dress code.
