Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stater Bros..
Cashier
The interviewer was nice and asked me about my past jobs. The place was near my house. They told me a lot about the job and what I'd be doing exactly. They also have flexible schedules.
- Do you have previous cashier experience and what hours are you available?
Cashier
The interviewer didn't seem super enthusiastic and honestly it felt like they didn't really want to be there or interview me. I didn't get the job, but they didn't ask about any of my qualifications. The only things they asked were to tell them about myself and what days I was available to work.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
Cashier
The interview process was straightforward and easy. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. They called me back the very next day. Having open availability was a significant advantage during the hiring process.
- Could you share some basic interview questions?
