They asked some really basic questions, like 'tell me about yourself.' I was hired right away, and since there was a holiday coming up, I actually started a couple of weeks later. The job itself is pretty straightforward.

It was 4 simple questions to answer. The answers were easy and there was no pressure. One of the questions I didn't know how to respond but the lady that was giving the interview did not mind skipping it, but other then that, they were pretty happy with the answers that I respond to the interview.

I applied online and got a call two days later to come in for an interview. I stood at check stand number one with three other people until I got called in. I was asked simple questions. After that, they told me about the company and responsibilities for the position. They said I'd get a call in about three weeks, but I got one a week later asking me to come in that day. I was given a final interview date and a folder with paperwork and company policies. My final interview was a week later at a different Stater Bros location with about seven people there, including myself. We took a saliva drug test, went over paperwork, and filled it out together. We also watched a harassment video. The whole thing took about two hours. Three days later, my manager called and told me to start in two days. The whole process took 23 days.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • In your own words, where do you see yourself in the next 2-3 years?
  • Tell me why you are interested in working here.

Applied online two days after the ad was posted. Got a call the next morning to come in for an interview the following day. Went to the interview and was politely greeted by the manager and then sat down in a back room in the office for a quick 5 minute interview. He just looked over my application and confirmed the information. The interview ended with him telling me I should be expecting a call in the next couple of days for a second interview which then he explained that it's more like orientation than an interview. Received the call two days later and was told to come in to pick up a pack the next day and then bring my DL and SS card. Then was told to show up two days after that for orientation. Whole process is very laid back and if you get called you most likely got the job unless you really mess it up.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Would you be willing to travel 25 miles?
  • What days are you available to work?
