It was a structured interview. They sent me a topic to prepare a presentation on. The panel interview was highly structured and scored. It was tough to gauge the panel's reactions because it was very formal. I didn't have time to ask questions, and I'm not sure how it went.

I applied online. I had an in-person interview with 3 people. I got the sense I was there just for compliance. The interview was easy, standard behavior-based questions. The panel asked from prepared questions and wrote down my answers. I felt like there was no real interest in me. They asked if I had questions, and when I asked the first, I got the impression I was an inconvenience. After my questions, they said someone would prepare me for the assessment. Someone was waiting outside to be interviewed, and they had back-to-back interviews. I was given assessment materials. When the next candidate came out, they were told they had an hour to complete it, which I wasn't told. So, I had to move faster and couldn't finish everything. After not hearing back, I emailed them and got a one-line response: 'we are still interviewing more candidates.' I was never told I didn't get the job. I decided I wouldn't want to work there because of the responses I received when I asked questions and sent a follow-up email. I could only imagine the responses I'd get if I worked there and had a question. I've applied at the SOM for positions and felt like I was just interviewed to meet compliance standards.

The first interview was with the supervising manager, an HR manager, and a Diversity and Inclusion manager. The top three candidates from this round moved on to a second interview. As part of the first round, candidates had to prepare and submit a presentation on a given topic beforehand. The second interview involved the hiring manager and the supervising manager.
