First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Customer Service Representative
The whole interview process took about 3 hours. When I first got there, they had me answer some questions on their laptop, covering writing, reading, and listening. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with two HR people. After that, another interview with a language specialist to test my language skills. I was already really tired by then because the whole thing was done without any breaks. I think I lost my focus and ended up failing the interview.
- How would you help a senior guest who is having technical problems with our company website when they call you?
Customer Service Representative
It was a one-on-one interview with some generic questions, and it was quick and painless. The interviewer was really nice, and the whole process didn't take long. I had to complete a typing test, a drug test, and a background check.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What makes you want to apply here?
- Are you seeking full-time or part-time work?
Customer Service Representative
They are looking for someone energetic, competitive, and self-motivated. If you like sales and competing, this is the job for you. I applied online and heard back about a week later. We talked about my resume, my education, my sales approach, and my previous customer service experience.
- Could you explain how you would sell a pen?
