So, it was before the pandemic hit. You start with an English test, then an interview with the agency via video. If they like you, you move on to the client interview, which is a full-day thing. It includes a group discussion, a role-play scenario, and then a one-on-one chat. They mostly hit you with sales-related questions, asking about your past experience and why you're keen on joining cruise lines. Things might be different now after the pandemic, so I can't really say for sure.

The interview process started with a recruiter call, and then a second round with the team via zoom. I think there might have been a third round, but I'm not positive. The first call with HR was super easy, mostly them telling me about the job and benefits. Then I had the second interview with the team over zoom where they asked deeper questions like why buying, why this company, and how I stay organized. It was a pretty standard interview, not exactly easy, but definitely prepare to explain why you want this role and this company. A lot of it is about getting to know you and how your past jobs prepared you. Even though I didn't get an offer, the company seems great with amazing benefits that I haven't seen elsewhere. It's clear they value their employees, as many have stayed for years. The recruiter was very helpful and kept me informed.

My agent set up a Skype interview for me about 3-4 weeks later. After that, I got scheduled for a second interview with the senior district manager, which was two weeks after the first. There was some miscommunication about the date, and my agent didn't tell me it was a conference call. I emailed HR, and they set up another interview for the week after. I got the invitation, but on the day, I waited on the conference line for 30 minutes with no one showing up. I emailed HR again, and they said the DM missed it but set me up for another interview the next day. Despite all the hiccups, they were very professional and helpful throughout the process.

The interview process was quite long. I had three interviews in total, meeting with 5 different managers. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes. First, I chatted with the Merchandising Associate Manager and the Merchandising Manager. After that, I met with the Distributor and the Sr. Associate Planning Manager for the category. Finally, the Divisional Merchandise Manager also made time to see me.
