Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stanley Steemer International.
Field Service Technician
The interview felt pretty laid-back and like a normal chat. We talked about my past jobs and I asked about what the role needs. They explained the job's tough parts and what they expect from someone in the role. I thought the pay during the initial training was low, and the main way to make more money is through commissions earned by selling extra services after training.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Cleaning Technician
It was an open question setting, they gave a quick description of the job, schedule, and pay. Filled out a couple forms, and you have to have a decent driving record. It's commission based. Seems like a job where you get what you put in.
- Why were you interested in this role?
- What made you apply to Stanley?
Technician
The process was smooth and seamless. The interview was professional and informative. I had a little bit of trouble locating the precise location of the interview so I would suggest arriving a little earlier than usual.
- Could you tell me about your personality?
