The interview process was super organized and felt really professional. I interviewed in person, in a big boardroom, and met with an HR Manager. They were really clear about the timelines and what they expected. Even though the role wasn't the right fit for me, I had a good overall impression of the company.

The hiring process felt pretty straightforward. After I sent in my resume, HR reached out within a couple of weeks. I had a phone chat with HR and then was invited for a half-day session at their office. This involved five separate 30-minute interviews with various people, including the hiring manager and folks from engineering and product management. Everyone I met was really nice. Things got a bit strange after that. The role I was interviewing for seemed to be downgraded to an associate position, and then it just disappeared, as far as I could tell. I never got any feedback after the interviews, which was a bit disappointing, and HR didn't follow up regarding the position. About six weeks later, I got an automated email saying the associate position was canceled. I never heard anything about the Manager role at all.

I started with a recruiter call, but their lack of excitement made me think I wouldn't get any further. To my surprise, I got a video interview with the hiring manager. She was upfront in the first few minutes that she didn't think I was qualified and hadn't even read the recruiter's notes. It was an awkward but typical half-hour Zoom call, ending with a polite but misleading suggestion that they'd be in touch. However, this company is known to ghost candidates, so I haven't heard back. It's a shame because I would have been a dedicated employee and a loyal customer.
