I got this cool job offer after talking on the phone first. Then, I had a video call with some tech people, which was more involved than just a phone chat. Doing the technical questions and showing my stuff online was kinda tricky, but it seems like a good way to see what I can do. It really shows how interviews are changing, you know, with all this online stuff. Gotta be ready for anything, phone or video. I'm excited for what's next and feel good about how I did.

I had a phone screening with HR. She was 10 minutes late and seemed like she wanted to get off the phone quickly. She asked about my experience at my current job. I know Stanley from my current company, and seeing the unprofessionalism of some engineers there made me doubt if I wanted to work for this company. This call just confirmed it. The rejection email was funny, where the HR person thanked me for my time but signed off as 'The Talent Acquisition Team,' so I couldn't even reply.

I had a call with HR that lasted about 30 minutes and it went well. They then set up a meeting with the hiring manager and the rest of the team for the following week. This meeting was about an hour long and took place over Zoom. The hiring manager was a bit late and the interaction felt a little awkward. Everyone on the call had masks on, which made it hard to read their reactions because they were quiet. The hiring manager was impressed with my background and asked me some technical questions. I heard back two days later and unfortunately didn't get the role.
