I went to an open house, dropped my resume, and talked to staff about units I was interested in. About a week later, HR called me. Then I had the HR interview, where they said two units were really interested and asked me to choose. I was stuck between the two, so they let me interview with the nurse managers on each unit. After those, I got invited for a shadow day for 3 hours on the unit I chose. After the shadow day, I was given two hours. Both positions had a $10,000 sign-on bonus over 18 months.

After submitting the necessary paperwork and if the facility is interested, an interview is arranged with an HR representative. This initial interview usually takes around 20 minutes. Following that, you'll meet with the manager of the specific department or floor you've applied for, in an interview lasting about 20-30 minutes. After meeting the manager, a quick tour of the unit will be provided.

Had a quick and straightforward interview. I met with a panel of three people. The day after my interview, I was asked to shadow the unit. I shadowed the unit the following week. I didn't hear back for another 3 weeks. I did not get an offer.
