Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It started with a 30 min HR screening call to check my basic skills and if I was a good fit. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager where they asked behaviour-based questions to assess my product skills and cultural fit. After that, I received a case study preparation document, which detailed a product challenge and asked me to elaborate on the roadmap and main features. The final step was a full day of interviews, which was pretty intense. It included a 1-hour case refinement session with the team (engineers and designer) to get to know them, ask questions about the case for better context, and get extra info for my case study presentation. I also had a 20 min interview with the product director with broader questions about my experience as a PM. Then, I met with other PMs to get to know my potential peers and dive deeper into how I work as a PM, covering both hard and soft skills, and cultural fit. Lastly, I had a 1-hour session to present my case study to the team and answer any questions.

Case Behavioral

The hiring process took two months which felt too long. I had four interviews, and one of them was a case study. Everyone was nice, but the final feedback was too generic and didn't make sense for someone who got so far. I regret spending time and effort on this role since it wasn't worth it.
