First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at St. Peter's Health Partners.
Physician Assistant
The first interview was a virtual Zoom call with supervisors. It was a traditional Q&A where I talked about myself and how I found out about the job. The second interview was in person. I got to tour the facility, meet some of the current employees, and ask questions about what the day-to-day responsibilities are like.
- What makes you interested in this particular specialty?
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What led you to apply for this position?
Receptionist
Good interview, had regular interview questions. It was in a professional setting. They asked me to bring a copy of my resume to review. Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone. It seems like a decent place to work and a great environment.
- Can you make the commute?
Support Specialist
Found the application on indeed.com and was taken to their company website to apply. Applied to multiple positions. Was contacted to apply for another position but never heard back. Instead, was reached out to for a phone support position. Invited to the St. Peter's campus in Albany for an in-person interview. Had left instructions on how to find the suite, but when I called for directions again, no one picked up. Left a message, and when I made it to the suite, the interviewer mentioned receiving my message but never calling back, so I was on my own. The interview process itself was normal, and I was asked the usual questions. Received an offer a week and a half later, although I was told I would hear back by the end of the week. Didn't like that the offer was contingent upon handing over medical records, specifically a medications list, which I don't think is legal for this type of position. A drug test is understandable, but asking for my medications list was too much. Also, the initial offer was given over the phone, but the official letter had a lower starting pay.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
Talent Acquisition Partner
First, I had a phone screening with a sourcing partner, which went well. Then, we scheduled an interview with the Manager. I then interviewed over the phone with the Talent Acquisition Manager, and that also went well. We then set up a Microsoft Teams meeting (video call) with the manager, director, and 3-4 colleagues. The interview went well, and I got more insight into the position. They asked questions to better understand my experience. I was told I'd get feedback in 2 days but never heard back. I followed up via email a week later with no response. I followed up again on the second week via phone, leaving a voicemail, and still nothing. So, no feedback and no offer.
