Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ST Engineering.
Executive
You'll have 1-2 interviews with the hiring manager and senior management. After the interview, there's a waiting period of 3 weeks to see if you're shortlisted. Then, HR will call to confirm salary, make a verbal offer, and proceed with contract signing.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself and your past experiences?
- What are your reasons for being interested in this industry?
- Can you share your future aspirations and plans?
Executive
Horrible interview, they were super condescending about my experience the whole hour. They kept pushing me on what work I did even though I repeated myself multiple times. They basically didn't believe the work I had done and implied my experience wasn't actually mine. They interrupted and talked over me a bunch. It's like they forgot an interview is a two-way street and that people are also interviewing them and the company. Really shows what their management and culture must be like. I would never work here. Be careful if you apply here and believe the reviews. Wouldn't recommend anyone apply after this awful experience.
- Can you describe your experience?
Executive
It was very insightful, giving me a good sense of what the job involves and what to anticipate if I get the offer. The questions also probed into my current experience and how it differs from the processes used by ST Engineers.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your current responsibilities?
- Do you have experience with SAP?
