The interview process started with a challenging group assessment. After that, I had two one-on-one interviews. One involved giving a presentation about my investment ideas as a commercial individual. The other was a general interview with competency-based questions.

They reviewed my CV first, then I got invited for a telephone interview. After that, there was an IQ test and a personality quiz. This was followed by a skills interview, and finally, an interview with managers and an HR panel. I was told to really polish my CV and make sure to list specific technical experience in projects, noting the number of months I used specific technologies for example, developer in abc project for x months in technologies xyz.

Behavioral Presentation

The whole application, scheduling and interview process was online. It felt efficient but impersonal. I never spoke to anyone from recruitment before or after the interviews, which is unusual for a senior specialist position. I would have appreciated a chat with someone from recruitment to get a better understanding of the role and the program. Nobody tried to sell me on the role or the company; it felt very one-sided and clinical. When I did ask questions, one panel member seemed to think they were being interviewed, which made it hard to ask more questions despite needing more information. I'm still interested in the company's mission, but the interview panels didn't inspire me. I didn't get any feedback after two interviews, only an automated email, which was disappointing after preparing a presentation with less than two days' notice. I didn't receive a job offer, and after the experience, I'm okay with that. It wasn't the right team for me, but I'll continue to explore other opportunities within the company.
