Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SRI International.
System Engineer
There was 1 round technical interview. It was based on my profile, meaning my experiences and some generic questions about the team. They also asked about challenges I faced and communication for project success. Lastly, they asked about the project, roles, and responsibilities.
- Could you describe your roles and responsibilities?
- Tell me about your experience.
- Do you have any questions about the team?
Systems Engineer Intern
It was a simple process with just a few technical questions. Started with a 30-minute phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a 30-minute to 1-hour technical interview with an engineer.
- Can you discuss the projects listed on your resume?
Systems Engineer
Had a phone interview with the recruiter, HR, and a departmental rep. They gave me a lot of info about the company and asked some general questions to get to know me and my background. I was told I'd have an in-person interview next, but then I stopped getting info and had to follow up multiple times to get a response. After a few weeks, I was told again I was selected for an in-person interview. I sent my availability, but again, no response for weeks even after I followed up multiple times. Finally, I reached out through the recruiter and was told the position wasn't being offered anymore.
- Could you tell me about your background and experience?
