Research Engineer
Started with an HR chat, then some interviews with team members and people who report to them. They went through my resume and asked about my experience and how I approach problems.
- Tell me about the research you did for your undergrad degree.
Research Engineer
I went through a mix of lab demos and office interviews. I also had to give a presentation about my graduate work and explain things on a whiteboard. They bought me lunch and gave me a tour of all the labs. They asked what I would like to work on and for my ideas based on what I saw.
- Can you explain how your machine works?
Research Engineer
HR Recruiter will call you for a casual chat if you meet the requirements and then schedule you with the department interviewers, usually 2 or 3. The whole process takes about 3-4 weeks. The interviewers might seem scary but they are very laid-back.
