Behavioral Technical

After a phone screening, I went through 3 interviews. I'm currently 6 weeks out and still waiting to hear back. The first interview was general questions, and the subsequent ones focused on behavioral questions like 'describe a time when...'. They place a big emphasis on diversity and inclusion, and the STAR Method is highly expected and used.

Started with a phone screen, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, I went to their headquarters in Menlo Park, CA for an in-person interview. Everyone was really nice, though some interviewers kept telling me I should get a PhD instead of actually asking interview questions.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a phone screen with HR, then a Zoom interview with some junior and senior researchers. After that, I had another follow-up with HR. They said I'd hear back the next week about references or if they went with another candidate. This happened for about 4 weeks, with the same message each week. I eventually stopped asking and never heard back. The whole thing was handled really unprofessionally, making me not want to work there again.

  • Could you tell me about your research background?
