Behavioral Technical Coding

Had an initial phone interview with a senior person where we talked about my experience and the job. Then, there was a second-round interview that was split into two parts: 30 minutes for behavioral questions and 30 minutes for technical questions. The technical part was mostly logic puzzles.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process has three rounds total. First, there's an initial phone interview, then a technical interview, and finally an interview with one of the founders/CEOs. The initial interview had standard questions, the technical interview focused more on logic than actual technical skills, and the last round was the most in-depth.

  • Could you share some of your experiences working with others?

Behavioral Technical

I had a quick phone chat with the recruiter who told me about the company and their Pega system. They also asked about my past teamwork experiences. Soon after, I got an invite for the next interview, which was a 30-minute behavioral session. I mainly discussed my resume and answered some STAR questions. Then, there was a 30-minute technical interview, focusing on logic and brain teasers rather than coding. I was offered a final round interview at their Vienna office, but I turned it down because I accepted another job. The whole process felt pretty easy, and the interviewers were really nice.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What is your understanding of Pega?
  • Can you share an instance of team conflict and how you resolved it?
  • Describe a situation where you experienced conflict within a team and your approach to handling it.
