The first interview was a phone call with someone who seemed inexperienced. It felt like they were more interested in selling the company than assessing my skills. The second interview was a Zoom call with a senior engineer who also tried to promote the company. When I asked about the specifics of the role because he seemed worried I wouldn't like it and would leave soon, he couldn't really explain it. It was strange. He did give me a programming test, but it was more about demonstrating QA concepts, like writing test cases, rather than a technical evaluation.

I applied because I was curious about QA. A recruiter called me for a phone interview within days. During the call, it felt like they were more focused on selling the job than anything else. They asked about my passion and commitment but didn't offer any real incentives or compensation. When I inquired about growth opportunities, I was disappointed with the response. It left me with a negative impression of the company.

The interview was pretty standard, with typical behavioral questions and inquiries about my previous programming experience. It was a straightforward process, and the interviewers were really nice. There was also a peer interview segment where some team members asked me questions and provided insights into the work culture and daily responsibilities.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about any past programming experiences you have?
