First you'll have a chat with HR to get to know you and give you info. Then, a Zoom call with the CTO or Senior Engineer to talk more about yourself and maybe some basic situational and technical questions. Lastly, a sit-down with the engineering team for technical questions.

Started with an application via a recruiter. First was a call with HR, then a chat with a director. Then I went onsite and met the HR person again, then some developers and a senior engineer. After that, I met some director level managers. It wasn't super technical, mostly about what I've done, what I plan to do, and what I'm using now. A week later, I had another onsite with a senior engineer, another director, and the VP of web apps. By then I was running out of things to ask them, and since he seemed busy with his computer and phone, I didn't say much.

So, the interview process kicked off with a 30-minute phone chat with the technical recruiter. About a week later, I had a 2-hour in-person interview where I met with 6 people. The first 30 minutes were a 1-on-1 with the recruiter, then 30 minutes with 2 team members, followed by 30 minutes with 2 department managers, and the last 30 minutes were with the hiring manager. If you move forward, there's a final interview with a VP. There wasn't a technical part in my experience, but I guess that can vary depending on the hiring manager. After that, it leads to a background check and hopefully an offer.
