First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sprouts Farmers Market.
Assistant Manager
It was a very relaxing, no-pressure interview. The process started with a phone interview, followed by several follow-up interviews. I would be interviewing with the director and the regional director. The pay, from what I understand, can vary. Sprouts is a decent company to work for.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Sprouts and describe your last role?

Assistant Manager
I hope Sprouts sees this. Another person wrote a similar review about a particular recruiter exhibiting unprofessional behavior- I unfortunately had to interact with that said person too. So please take this additional review seriously. This was the same person who is based in Phoenix doing campus recruiting for college students. I have their name and wish I could put it to warn other college students against applying to post-grad opportunities here (atleast store manager roles). She was incredibly rude. Honestly, I'm shocked. I have never interacted with such an unprepared, unprofessional, flat out rude recruiter. It seemed like she was reading off a script, spoke a mile a minute when explaining the program without giving me the chance to respond, was very very condescending when answering my questions, sighed constantly, and brought such a bad negative energy to an interview that for the first time- I rescinded an application. It made me want to never apply to a role at Sprouts again. For this reason, I'll say it was a difficult interview. It's hard to remain enthusiastic when a recruiter is actively sighing while you're speaking.
- Tell me about your leadership and management abilities.
Manager
So I had the recruiter screen, which went well and I was excited about the company. The recruiter said they'd share next steps but then there was no communication. I had to reach out to ask what was happening. Suddenly, I was told I'd be moving forward to interview with the hiring leader. The recruiter scheduled a call but didn't show up. I messaged to reschedule, got no reply. The hiring leader interview happened, and they said they wanted to move forward and would coordinate with the recruiter for the next steps. Still no word from the recruiter. I followed up with my availability, still nothing. This recruiter was completely silent and provided no follow-up. It's fine if plans change or I'm not a fit, but Sprouts Farmers Market totally ghosted me. All the talk about how great they are and their awesome TA team during the first call feels like a joke now. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't move forward with them if this lack of communication is typical company culture. Things happen for a reason, and I'm grateful for that.
