My first screening interview was with a lively, engaged recruiter who asked great questions and made me feel exceptionally welcome and excited about the opportunity. Unfortunately my second interview with the hiring manager was extremely impersonal, to the point where I questioned if the hiring manager on screen was actually AI. They did not take any time to get to know me, read questions off to me rapid-fire like they were being launched from a cannon, and did not ask any follow-up questions nor engage in any conversation. Obviously, I was not selected to move forward nor would I have enjoyed working in such an environment. Please have some humanity in the workforce!

Behavioral Other

My interview experience was great. First, I spoke with the recruiter, Alex, over the phone. Alex really listened to what I was looking for and helped me see how my skills fit the role at Sprout. After that, I had a call with the Director of the team, and then an onsite interview with other team members. The onsite was very welcoming and everyone was super friendly. Alex let me know personally that I didn't get the job and gave me feedback on why. Sprout Social really made the process feel personal.

Behavioral Technical Other

Had a lot of initial interviews, 3 phone calls and 1 in person. It felt like a waste of time and wasn't very organized. The hiring manager wasn't great at giving positive feedback, and what I did get felt like a personal insult.
