The interview process was quick and efficient, wrapping up in just one round. They got back to me fast. The standard questions gave a good sense of the basic qualifications, but I was hoping for more details on company culture and the daily tasks of the job.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a great interview experience overall. First, I talked to Michelle, the recruiter. Then I interviewed with Marie, who leads business development for EMEA and APAC. The final round was a panel interview where I had to give a presentation. The panel included Jack (Senior Account Executive), Amrita (General Manager APAC), Marie (Head of Business Development), and Celine (Account Executive). They gave me plenty of time to get ready for each stage and clearly explained what was needed. Everyone was really nice and professional, and I enjoyed talking to them. They also gave me honest feedback after each session. Even though I didn't get an offer, Michelle called me afterwards to go over the feedback, which was a nice way to finish.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied to Sprout through LinkedIn in December 2021. A recruiter named Zach Nelson reached out for an initial screening, and he was great, clearly explaining the BDR role expectations. Next, I spoke with Jacklyn, a BDR manager. Before that interview, I had to send a cold email, and then during the interview, I was asked to pitch Sprout using the Sandler Sales Method. She gave good feedback and I moved to the final round. The last interview involved three BDR managers, lasted about 1-1.5 hours, and required me to create and present a PowerPoint. The presentation covered my personal and professional background, what I'm most proud and most disappointed of, how a chosen brand/app could benefit from Sprout (ROI), and why I'm a good fit for Sprout and vice versa. I had to talk a lot about myself and answer their questions throughout. In the end, I didn't get an offer. Zach called to let me know they chose another candidate, which was a nice personal touch. Sprout is lucky to have him!
