The interview process was disappointing and lacked transparency. Even though I knew I didn't meet a basic requirement from the start, they still led me through multiple rounds of discussions. In the end, I got a generic rejection email with no real feedback. They told me to keep pursuing the role, but when I reached out to the decision-makers, it was clear they had no plans to consider me for future roles. The whole thing felt misleading and gave me a bad impression of how the company hires.

The interview process felt laid-back and friendly. It was supposed to have 3 stages, but I only got through the first one. It was a really nice phone call, and I felt at ease and like we were just chatting. The only bummer was after the first phone screening, I was told I'd hear back from the hiring manager by the end of the week about moving on. The week ended, and I didn't hear anything. The next week, I messaged the person I first interviewed with, and she responded quickly to let me know I wasn't moving forward. I do wish Sprout would share why I didn't get picked. It's always good to know if it was my experience or something else.

This was one of the best interview experiences I've had recently. Tech interviews can be tiring, long, and sometimes feel like you're just going through the motions. With Sprout, it felt personal, organized, and efficient. The recruiter, Michelle, and the supporting team were incredibly helpful and human throughout the process, which really speaks well of Sprout. I never felt like I had to chase anyone or wonder what was happening next. Overall, a top-notch experience.
