It started with a phone interview, which was pretty simple and straightforward. Then there was a second interview that was easy and they asked some great questions, followed by some computer testing. The third interview was really tough, with some irrelevant questions thrown in to try and throw you off, and the interviewer seemed uninterested the whole time. They said they'd get back to you the following week, but they never do. If you have a lot of time to waste on interviews that don't lead to a job, then go for it.

So there are three steps in the interview process. First, you talk to HR for a phone screen to see if you're a good fit and ready for the next step. Then, you have your first interview with a sales manager for about an hour. After that, you have your second interview, which is in person with a sales director, also lasting about an hour. Then you shadow another Sales Advisor for about 30 minutes to see what the day-to-day is like. Finally, you take a 30-minute assessment. After all that, the interview process is over and you just wait.

Behavioral Presentation

So I got an email from HR and set up a phone chat with her. Then, I had an in-person interview at their office with a sales manager. They told me the next step was another in-person interview with someone else in management. The second in-person interview was with another sales manager, and they asked different questions. After that, I got to shadow a sales agent to see what the job is really like day-to-day. I thought it was great how SVG is really upfront about their interview process. Usually, you feel kind of in the dark, but not with SVG.
