I just wanted to take time out to write a review about the positive interview experience I had with SPOTIO's recruiter, Chereen. Chereen showed me real kindness, helpfulness, and transparency all through the process, which sometimes doesn't always happen during the interview process. Unlike previous experiences, Chereen's approach felt personal and attentive, giving me valuable tips to improve my resume during the interview and giving open and honest answers to all my questions about the role, the company, its culture, etc.. It's truly refreshing to find a recruiter who actually cares about candidates' progress and making sure that the role they're applying for is really what they want. I'm thankful for her kindness and all of the tips and feedback I got from her and felt like I had to share it here on Glassdoor.

About two weeks after I applied, I was asked to do a recorded video interview through Workable. It was more of a full interview than a quick screening, but there were 18 questions, which felt like a lot. I could see most questions beforehand, but I usually only got one shot to record my answers for each, and they were timed, some under a minute. I felt rushed and couldn't really explain myself fully, and it felt kind of impersonal and awkward. It wasn't a bad interview, and the questions were typical, but I'd rather talk to a real person. If you feel the same, you might not enjoy this.

Behavioral Presentation Technical Other

The interview process included an initial intro call, followed by a call with the Hiring Manager where I had to give a presentation. Then there was a call with the CRO. After that, I had an assignment where I had to review the State of Field Sales Report and provide feedback. This was followed by a feedback call with the Hiring Manager. Finally, there was a call with the CEO. Chereen was really helpful throughout this entire process. She was so personable and made this interview experience a great one. She was responsive, organized things quickly, and always offered feedback. A lot of interviews and presentations were needed before each call. The assignment was unpaid. Higher management had unrealistic expectations for this role.
