Sales Assistant
It was super chill. Honestly, I think I overdid it by wearing a suit since it was my first part-time job interview, lol. But yeah, the interviewer wanted to hear more about me, my background, previous work experience, what I'm looking for in the role, my understanding of the position, and what I know about Sports Direct. They also asked about my availability and then had me do a role-play where I had to sell them a magazine and an in-sole.
- Could you try to sell me this magazine?
Product Manager
Standard competency based interview. Fairly easy as I was applying for a part time role. Was fairly easy and relaxed throughout. Asked about previous work, education, skills and characteristics I can bring to the team. Asked about flexibility and ranges of hours I can work weekly.
- What is your name?
Customer Assistant
I applied online and got called in for a brief, casual chat with the assistant manager. I was dressed in jeans and a polo shirt. They offered me the job right then and there, and I got an email later that week.
- Could you tell me about your top three strengths?
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
Seller
Interview with the store manager and the specific department manager for the position. Basic interview questions from both managers. Approximately 30 minutes in the offices of the store where I was applying. Response within 2 weeks.
- Why you and not someone else?
