Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sport Clips.
Assistant Manager
It was a pretty chill interview. They asked about my goals, how I focus on the team, and my past experience. We talked about the pay and how to earn more while keeping the team on track. They showed me around the salon and explained the day-to-day tasks.
- How do you lead a team?
- What are your goals and how do you plan to achieve them?
- How do you ensure your team is focused?
Manager
I had a phone interview with the hiring manager for the area. She contacted me precisely at the scheduled time of 10:30 am. The conversation was relaxed and natural; she wasn't aggressive with her questions. In fact, I felt I asked her more questions than she asked me.
- What were your desired working hours?
Community Relations Manager
I applied online and got a call about the job about an hour after applying. I talked to someone in operations about the duties, expectations, territories, and travel time. Since it was a new role, there weren't many guidelines. It mostly involved developing relationships with local businesses and creating joint marketing campaigns. At the end of the call, they said my application would move forward, but I never heard back.
- Can you share any experiences that make you a good fit for this role?
