Had 2 video calls, one for application stuff and another for a presentation. Asked some technical questions about how my coursework connected to the job and industry. Then I did a slide show about some R&D I'd done, and they asked technical questions about those slides.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online in December 2008. After that, I had a phone interview. Then, a few weeks later, I had a 1:1 interview where they flew me in, put me up in a hotel, and gave me a rental car. The 1:1 interview was pretty informal, mostly a tour of the plant, and it seemed like they had already decided to hire me. I was paired with a senior engineer who acted as my guide for the day.

This was the first phone call, basically a screening done by some other company. They were trying to get info about my experience and if I was qualified. The person interviewing me sometimes seemed to not get what I was saying, maybe because English isn't her first language. It made her kinda impatient sometimes.
