First, there was an HR call where they asked about my background, skills based on the job description, career aspirations, and salary expectations. Then, I had a mid-management interview where we reviewed my process design, focusing on my experience in toys and design, and did a portfolio review of my past projects. This was followed by a take-home assignment. Finally, there was a senior management interview.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Went through a lot of rounds of interviews. The hiring manager was really nice and the recruiting team was quick to respond. It would have been cool to know who I was meeting with and for what role beforehand, since it seemed like I was being considered for a few different teams, but it wasn't clear going in.

Behavioral Technical

I had three interviews with Spinmaster. It was an unpleasant experience because before I even started my final interview, the interviewer said they might not be able to hire new people due to the economic crisis and that they needed company approval. I didn't understand why they scheduled an interview with me if they hadn't even gotten company approval to hire new employees. It felt like a waste of time for everyone involved.
