The people I interacted with were super professional and friendly. There were 4 stages in the interview process. First was with HR, then the CFO, followed by an interview with another executive assistant, and finally another HR round. The third stage had a lot of questions specific to the role. Everything was conducted over Teams. Communication was good. They mentioned opportunities for growth and gaining work experience.

I went through several days of interviews for this role. The first day involved four people, and a lot of questions were about 'fit'. One interviewer even pointed out a mistake on my resume during the interview, which felt like a negative environment. After that long interview day, I didn't hear anything for weeks. Then, I got a random email asking me to come back. I interviewed with someone I would be working with, and she told me after an hour that my experience wasn't the best fit for the job. It made me wonder why they called me back if they already knew my experience wasn't suitable.

A local staffing agency set up an appointment and I had 3 interviews. The last one was with the Principal. They asked a lot of questions about my past experience and why I was interested in their company. The feedback was really good. One VP said she could see me starting at her desk right away. But, they decided I was overqualified.

  • What is your motivation for applying to this role?
  • Given your previous experience, this role appears to be a demotion. Can you explain why you are pursuing it?
