My experience with Spektrix was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After the first stage, I was left waiting for a week without any updates. When I followed up, they told me the role had changed and they needed to check internally if my skills matched. After chasing them for two weeks, they finally replied, saying they were now looking for a full stack engineer instead of a backend developer. The funny thing is, I'm a full stack engineer, and I made that clear from the start. It's hard to believe they could miss something so basic. Their poor communication and lack of clarity, plus wasting candidates' time on a role they weren't even sure about, really shows their hiring practices are not great. I'd avoid them if you want a company that respects your time and skills.

So, for this senior software developer role, it was a four-stage interview thing. It was pretty long, honestly, and the communication wasn't great, which was a bit annoying and made me unsure about where things stood. After finishing all four stages, they said I'd hear back in like 3-4 days. Well, that didn't happen, and even after I followed up, crickets. That's not cool, especially after I put in all that time and effort. It felt like maybe they weren't sure about hiring me, even after all those rounds. So yeah, while some parts were okay, the whole thing dragged on too long and the lack of response really soured the experience, making it feel like a waste of my time.

Got a phone call first, then did a peer programming session via hangout and another platform where we paired on some simple problems. After that, there was an on-site interview, and then they made an offer.
