It was an easy and straightforward interview. I first met with a recruiter, then with the manager and director, and finally with other HR Generalists. The recruiter set up and communicated everything.

I applied and got contacted for a phone screen with a recruiter within a week. The recruiter was nice but started complaining about hiring manager communications, which was a bit weird for the start. They passed me to the next step, an interview with the hiring manager. Scheduling was a bit messy with both a recruiter and coordinator trying to set it up. The hiring manager was late and didn't apologize. They asked me why I left my job before having another lined up, which felt judgmental. The interview was only 30 minutes and seemed like they didn't want to be there. I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week or early next. A week went by with no word, so I contacted the recruiter. They ghosted me. About three weeks later, I got other offers and had to withdraw my application, reaching out to both the hiring manager and recruiter again. Still no response, just ghosted. It was a bad experience with poor communication. I understand not getting the job, but I expected better communication and punctuality.

Spectrum reached out via email for an initial phone screen. It was set for Friday but Spectrum had to reschedule for the following Monday due to poor time management. After passing that 30-minute pre-screen, I was expecting an interview Thursday or Friday. Instead, I got an email for Monday, which I luckily saw. Definitely not a good sign, no phone call, felt unprofessional. The second interview was with the regional department head and a staff member. It was a bit strange because the interviewer mentioned they weren't really involved in a part of the coverage area the Sr. HR Generalist would handle, basically saying they didn't want to be bothered. It lasted 45 minutes, and the staff member just sat there without asking any questions.
