Business Systems Analyst
Had one chat with the hiring manager and a team member. It was chill, they were clear, right on time, and seemed to get it. They asked stuff about my resume and also about other jobs and school I've done. They were trying to get a feel for my personality by just talking, so make sure you chat a lot and maybe crack a few jokes.
- Could you discuss your most recent professional experience?
- Please provide an overview of your resume.
- Tell me about your previous employment and educational background.
Business Systems Analyst
It was a 3 stage interview process. First, a phone screening. Then I met with the hiring manager for a semi-technical interview. Finally, I interviewed with 3 team members for a technical interview. After the phone screening, they took almost 15 days to get back to me about my availability for the next stage. The 2nd and 3rd stage interviews were only 4 days apart. I got the offer 2 days after the last interview. It was a pretty quick and pleasant process once it got going.
- Can you briefly describe your past work experience?
- How would you go about removing duplicate rows from a relational database table?
- In your opinion, what defines an ideal Business/Data Analyst, and what qualities distinguish them?
Technology Analyst
Started with a recruiter call about my interest and resume. Then, an in-person interview with two pairs of people. The first pair asked situational questions from a paper. Right after, I met the second pair, including the Hiring Manager, who gave a job breakdown. They asked about my tool comfort, my resume story, and some situational questions. I asked questions, and then it was over. I didn't get an offer and didn't hear back after following up. After weeks, I figured they chose someone else or hired internally.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
- Could you describe your most significant weakness?
- Describe how you would inform all relevant parties about an urgent service outage.
