First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spectrum Brands.
Supply Chain Manager
First I was contacted by the talent acquisition manager in August. We spoke for over 1 hour about my skills and experiences and expectations for the role. Then, I had an interview panel with 8 people in a set of 6 meetings in September. Although the process was quite long, the interviewers were nice to speak with. It felt like it was a informal conversation where we were sharing experiences. There was no writing test, but they did ask me to describe how a S&OP process would look like in detail. Overall, it was a good experience. Spectrum’s team was agile in keeping me posted for next steps. I got an offer in October.
- Can you describe the S&OP process involving team collaboration?
Supply Chain Manager
The process was really professional. Communication was clear and fast, keeping me updated. Everyone I talked to, from recruiters to VPs, seemed genuinely interested in my background, my goals, and how I lead. They gave me their full attention and I never felt rushed. The company's focus on environment, safety, integrity, and developing employees is obvious everywhere. The whole interview and hiring experience was exciting and rewarding.
- What are your employees and co-workers' descriptions of you?
- If you had to leave your current company, who would you choose to take your place and why?
Commodity Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, pretty much like most other interviews I've been through. The only real difference was that there were more interviewers when I got to the in-office part. The whole thing took about two weeks.
- What unique value do you bring to our company?
- Convince us of your suitability for this role.
