The interview process included an HR call that went well, followed by two technical interviews focused on frontend development. These interviews were straightforward, with questions about my experience. Although I received positive feedback, they classified me as mid-level, not senior, despite my over three years of senior experience. This might be due to my unfamiliarity with tanstack query, which was a question. The role was for a senior position, so unfortunately, no offer was extended. Despite this, the overall experience was positive.

So, first I had a phone screening with a recruiter, it wasn't that difficult. After that, I had a 30 minute technical interview that was also on the phone. They started by asking me about my current job, the technologies I use, their versions, and the split between front end, back end, and database work. Then they asked more specific questions about the technologies, although some were a bit unclear. The interviewer mentioned he'd submit his report by the end of the day and I'd hear back in a week, but I found out the next day they weren't moving forward with me.

I interviewed with them after talking with them on campus. They said that they did not have a job opening at the time, but they were expecting to have a job opening soon and were just interviewing beforehand. I talked with 2 engineers and the was given a tour of the office. The technical questions were pretty basic, just stuff that was on my resume. There was then a technical assessment to be completed at home on a website called Codility. Three programing problems to be solved in 1 hour. The first one was FizzBuzz, the other 2 were a bit more challenging. It's been around 2 months since the interview and I have not heard anything back from them. Everyone seemed really cool and easy to talk to. Looks like a pretty relaxed place to work.
