First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SP Group.
Engineer
There will be 1 or 2 face-to-face interviews, depending on the interviewer. HR will contact you on WhatsApp first to set up an interview at HQ. It should take about 45 minutes.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Tell me about what you know regarding the company's background.
- And what do you know about the role you've applied for?
Engineer
This was a 2-round interview process. It wasn't too intense, mostly just to get to know you better. They want to see if you can make the interviewer feel safe and if you're proactive. They're looking for people who can handle high demands from above and also manage the people working under them. For example, they want to see that you've had a role where you reported to superiors and managed subordinates, and how you handled that.
- Can you describe a situation where you operated in a middle-management capacity, reporting to superiors and overseeing subordinates, and explain how you navigated that role?
- How do you demonstrate initiative in your work?
- How do you manage and meet high-level demands?
Engineer
2 rounds of interviews, and they were very smooth. The HR person was really helpful and explained the job scope. I was interviewed by a panel that had different sections. I talked about my experience at my previous company and was asked about my expectations for this new job. I also learned about standby duty, which might not be ideal for married guys.
- Can you detail your life achievements?
