I applied through a job board and got contacted by Connor Hughes, an internal recruiter at Sovos, via email. We had a phone conversation, and then I was given an assessment, which included two logic tests and one coding test. Connor kept me informed about the entire process, offering clear instructions and a lot of support. I was then invited to the office for interviews with four people. Connor met me at the office and guided me through that part of the process as well. The interviews were challenging due to the difficult questions asked, but overall it was a very positive experience. I received a job offer over the phone within a few days, which I accepted.

We had an introductory interview first, then a technical test and then a technical interview which had two parts. The first part of the technical interview was about understanding how applications are built and how storage is managed. The second part was a live coding session covering data structures, design patterns, and OOP concepts.

It was a phone screen, then I had two aptitude tests, and finally an in person interview with my direct supervisor and upper management. The recruiter was super professional and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They even suggested another position when the one I wanted was filled. They answered all questions quickly and professionally.
