Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online and got an invite for aptitude and personality tests. After finishing those, I got invited to interview with HR and take another aptitude test. I think the second test is just to check if I cheated on the first one, which feels like a waste of time when I'm trying to manage my current job. The HR interview didn't give me much chance to ask questions, and I didn't feel like I learned much about the company or role. Then, I was invited to a 45-minute panel interview with two directors. They had me introduce myself, then they read from a script with their questions. It felt really impersonal and not engaging. After that, I felt even less interested and got the vibe that 'Global' in the title doesn't really mean global. They then invited me for a sales presentation interview, but I decided to decline because I just wasn't feeling it and didn't expect that to change.

Sovos has a pretty thorough interview process, but most of it happens pretty fast. You usually start with a recruiter phone screen, then you take a test for aptitude and personality. If you pass that, you'll probably have phone interviews with the hiring manager or a sales director. Some sales jobs need a live mock presentation after a few rounds of interviews. They kept in touch well through everything. You have to do a background check and drug screen after they give you an offer. For sales jobs, you also have to finish and pass a training program to keep your job.

So, first there was this online test, like a cognitive and behavioral thing. Then a quick chat on the phone. After that, a Skype interview where they watched me take that same test again, and then they interviewed me. The interview part was all about my past experiences and how they fit the role. Then, I think there was supposed to be a phone call with the head of Sales, followed by an in-person interview at their office.
