The interview process included a phone screen, followed by an in-person interview, then a case study, and finally a meeting with leadership. This took about 10 weeks and felt pretty slow. It would be good to be more proactive about communication.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty easy and fast. I had a 30-minute chat with HR and got an in-person interview invite in two days. The interviewers were friendly and put me at ease. The questions weren't super tough, more like a casual Q&A than a skills test. HR was in the interview, which was a first for me. I didn't get the job offer about 4 business days later. HR explained that they found a candidate who was a better fit and offered a follow-up for more feedback. I noticed the hiring manager mentioned they were a budget airline, making me wonder if salary played a role since I asked for the top of the pay scale but had all the required experience. It seems like some companies pass up great candidates for pay. I hope that wasn't the case, but if it was, employers should be upfront about pay and give candidates a chance to meet in the middle.

Behavioral Case Group Presentation

This was honestly one of the worst interview processes I've been through. It started with two phone screens, then a video interview, followed by a virtual panel, and finally an in-person panel where I had to do a case study. After all that, I was ghosted and had to chase them for a response weeks later. They told me I didn't get the job because someone else had experience in an area that wasn't even relevant to the job description and wasn't something they even asked me about. You'd think a company with such a great culture would offer a better candidate experience, but it really didn't feel that way.
