Graduate Faculty
After applying, I was quickly contacted by a recruiter. However, the recruiter seemed rushed and didn't pay attention to my answers. She informed me upfront that the whole interview would be recorded by AI, and it sounded like she was just reading from an AI script without actually listening to me. It felt very impersonal and off-putting. She didn't even ask if I had any questions, which was quite strange. This made me suspect that the school might be some sort of AI diploma mill, so I decided not to continue with the process.

Marketing Manager
Total bait and switch experience. I liked that SNHU posted the hiring range and full position range, and I applied with a number from the higher end, so I thought they'd be cool with it since they asked me to interview. The first step was this recorded, virtual, one-way interview with timed questions that were all normal. You only see one question at a time. But then, the last question dropped a way lower salary range and asked if I'd be okay with it - like a $15k difference. The form said saying 'no' wouldn't disqualify me, but I bet the salary is what got me cut. The generic rejection said it was my experience and someone else was a better fit, BUT... the job's been posted again. Super shady. Wonder how many people they wasted time on.

Professor
After submitting an online application, I had a phone interview that lasted about 45 minutes. The job offer came the very next day. It was a pretty straightforward process. The main things they asked about were my background, my technical abilities, my education, and if I could do the job remotely.
- Can you describe your experience teaching adult learners?
- Tell me about your professional background.
- What technical skills do you possess?
Curriculum Developer
The interview kicked off with a virtual round on the Harver platform, featuring five basic questions. This was followed by a Zoom meeting with the hiring manager and some other leaders. Next, there was a task to complete. Finally, I had to present the task to a panel composed of the team I would be working with. I invested a lot in it but only received feedback that they were proceeding with other candidates. It’s standard practice to offer constructive feedback when a candidate reaches this stage, given the time and effort they put in, especially since they'll be moving on to other opportunities and may want to refine their professional profile.
- How would your former colleagues characterize you? And how about your former supervisors?
- Describe an instance where a plan did not go as expected and outline the actions you took in response.
